Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Klein (ranked 25071 p4p, 2979 weight class) and Matt Morgan (ranked 696 p4p, 380 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Klein.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Morgan looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Klein with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Morgan goes for an armbar but Klein turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Klein.

Morgan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Morgan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Morgan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Morgan got a little sloppy there for a moment and Klein has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Morgan has managed to get both his arms back between Klein's legs - danger averted.

Morgan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
