Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Grandmaster Yip Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roy Rage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Yip Man might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Everything in its right place- Radio Head. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yip Man looks to land a right hand but Rage moved out of range. Rage thows a body shot but no joy. Yip Man throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Rage sees it coming and avoids it easily. Rage closes this distance looking for a takedown but Yip Man circles away. Rage misses with a two punch combination.
Yip Man throws a combination that misses and Rage counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Rage wants to control from the top but Yip Man keeps moving. Rage postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Rage stands up over Yip Man, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Yip Man is looking to stand up but Rage isn't so interested in that idea. Yip Man keeping full guard, as Rage tries to pass. Rage working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Rage trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Rage with a flurry of punches that miss.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rage fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Yip Man really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nice uppercut lands for Yip Man. That snapped Rage's head back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rage looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Yip Man on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Yip Man tries to get out of the position. Rage seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Yip Man does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Rage thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Yip Man's head. Rage is keen to just control but Yip Man is a slippery customer. Rage not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Rage stops Yip Man from getting back to his feet.
Rage is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Yip Man has managed to free his arm - good work.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Rage takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Yip Man pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Rage drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rage accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Yip Man wants to get back to his feet but Rage is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Rage loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rage trying to control the position from guard on top but Yip Man is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rage thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Rage looks gassed! Rage looking to pass the guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Yip Man wants to stand up but Rage is controlling him. Yip Man utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rage throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Yip Man's waist but Yip Man gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Rage off to one side. Grandmaster Yip Man has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roy Rage. Yip Man lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Yip Man falls off balance throwing a combination
and Rage decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Yip Man's guard. Yip Man is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rage is controlling him. Rage wants to control from the top but Yip Man keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rage controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Rage trying to control the position from guard on top but Yip Man is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Yip Man preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Yip Man is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Rage is working Yip Man over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Rage gets to his feet. Yip Man looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Rage takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Yip Man is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Rage shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Yip Man but Yip Man pushes him off and we're back to square one. Yip Man throws a shot from downtown. Rage moves away and avoids it. Yip Man throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Rage counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Rage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rage works a leg free and moves into half guard. Rage has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Rage trying to control but Yip Man is having none of it. Yip Man is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
A nice elbow there by Rage. Rage unloading with bombs! Rage working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Yip Man is really trying hard to get back to his feet.

Rage uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Yip Man. Rage is looking to clinch. Yip Man misses with an uppercut. Rage shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Rage sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Yip Man defending well though. Yip Man wants to get back to his feet. Rage has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Yip Man is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. Rage is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Yip Man is surviving well by controlling Rage's body position as best he can. Rage looking to control but Yip Man is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Rage working the ground and pound effectively.

Rage scoring with strikes but Yip Man is staying in there. Yip Man knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rage on the ground. Rage landing punches. Rage swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
