Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Irwin (ranked 2918 p4p, 3284 weight class) and Norris Chow (ranked 286 p4p, 306 weight class). Norris Chow will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christopher Irwin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Norris Chow!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Vladimir Khabensky and Dmitry Maklakov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chow lands a two punch combo.
Chow throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Irwin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chow's waist but Chow gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Irwin off to one side.
Chow scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Irwin looks for a takedown but Chow sprawls well.
Irwin shoots in for a takedown but Chow shows good takedown defense.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Chow dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Irwin. That did some damage!

Chow sneaks out the side door and pushes Irwin away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Irwin tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chow sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Irwin somewhat.
Irwin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chow throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Irwin's head.
Irwin shoots in looking for a takedown. Chow tries to sprawl out of it but Irwin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Chow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Chow holds on and takes a little breather.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Irwin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chow's guard.
Chow is positioning himself well to prevent Irwin advancing to mount.

Chow is desperately trying to improve his position but Irwin has a good base and remains in mount.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Irwin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chow avoids it really well and circles away.
Chow feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Irwins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

It seemed like Chow was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Chow clobbers Irwin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
