The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharma looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Umm was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Umm connects with a good right hand that stumbles Sharma. Sharma circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Umm avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Sharma uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Umm has time to react.

It looks like Rect Umm has been cut.
Umm is looking to clinch but Sharma is avoiding it.

Sharma throws out a counter right but Umm avoids it with no problem.
Sharma throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Umm throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Sharma stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
We've been informed that Sharma has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Umm tries to close the distance and clinch but Sharma swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Sharma connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Umm takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Umm misses with a hook.
Umm fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Sharma punishes Umm's body with a nice straight punch.
Umm is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Umm fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sharma manages to avoid it.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Sharma! But no joy.
Umm misses with the combination.

Sharma feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Umms jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Umm lands a nice hook to Sharma's body. Sharma takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Sharma throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Sharma ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Umm connects with a looping right hand.

Umm drops Sharma with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Sharma looks back up at him and smiles so Umm waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A looping hook to the body misses from Sharma. Umm does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sharma swings widly with a right hand
and Umm counters with a crisp right that sends Sharma to the canvas! Umm follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
