The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ahma connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Brooksbank walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ahma checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Brooksbank shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
A good leg kick by Ahma.
Verneri Ahma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ahma chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Brooksbank looks for a takedown but Ahma sprawls well.
Brooksbank ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Good exchange - Ahma coming out on top.
Ahma lands a big head kick that sends Brooksbank tumbling to the mat! Ahma takes a step backwards and waves Brooksbank back to his feet - he wants the finish!
