Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alan Ragasatria (ranked 2209 p4p, 3442 weight class) and Jose Pacheco (ranked 116 p4p, 169 weight class). Alan Ragasatria has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Alan Ragasatria! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 13 - 27 - 0, fighting out of London, Jose Pacheco! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pacheco moves into the clinch. Ragasatria could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ragasatria escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ragasatria misses with a looping left. Pacheco closes the distance and clinches. Ragasatria pulls guard. Ragasatria is looking for a triangle here but Pacheco uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Ragasatria is not content to let Pacheco control the position. Pacheco working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Pacheco is looking to take a break and control but Ragasatria is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ragasatria struggling a bit here. Pacheco is trying to get an arm triangle but Ragasatria is defending well. Ragasatria parries the strikes from Pacheco easily there. Pacheco is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Ragasatria to escape.

Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

It looks like Alan Ragasatria has been cut. Ragasatria tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Ragasatria has Pacheco pressed against the cage.
Pacheco pushes off an throws an elbow but Ragasatria leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Ragasatria can't find room to land a body shot as Pacheco controls the action.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Ragasatria trying to pass the guard but Pacheco defending well.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ragasatria shoots and misses and Pacheco counters with a one-two to the body. Pacheco throws a leg kick but Ragasatria checks it. Ragasatria seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Pacheco rushes Ragasatria and presses him up against the cage. Pacheco blocks a punch to the side of the head.

He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Ragasatria tries to throw a body punch but Pacheco avoids it by throwing Ragasatria back against the cage. Ragasatria looking to stall.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Pacheco throwing strikes here but Ragasatria is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pacheco has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Ragasatria has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

Jose Pacheco showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Alan Ragasatria's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round! Pacheco stuns Ragasatria with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Ragasatria tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pacheco defends well and Ragasatria ends up having to push Pacheco into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Ragasatria is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Ragasatria is trying to maintain a safe position but Pacheco gets an underhook and turns Ragasatria into the cage. Pacheco putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Ragasatria in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Pacheco with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Pacheco doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pacheco manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ragasatria looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pacheco wants to pass the guard but Ragasatria is keeping the position. Ragasatria escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pacheco gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pacheco controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Alan Ragasatria has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ragasatria throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
And that's the end of the fight! Jose Pacheco comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pacheco has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
