Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Killer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clive Staples Lewis!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lewis lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Chief Killer has been cut.
Killer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Lewis misses with a double jab.
Killer darts in looking for a takedown but Lewis gets double underhooks and turns Killer into the cage.

Killer turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Lewis is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Killer thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Killer takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Killer thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Lewis's head.

Killer is thwarting Lewis's attempts to control the position.
Lewis is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Killer's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Killer's back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lewis is trying to stick to Killer's back but Killer is turning into Lewis. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Lewis's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Killer.
Killer missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Killer trying to control but Lewis is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Killer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lewis is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.


Lewis is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Killer is just riding it out for now. Lewis eventually gives up the hold.
Lewis is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Killer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lewis pulls his head out easily.
Lewis is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Killer has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Killer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lewis pulls his head out easily.
Lewis is looking to stall here but Killer recovers full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Killer is looking for a triangle but Lewis pushes his legs off easily.

Killer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lewis gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Lewis trying to control the position from guard on top but Killer is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lewis slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Killer looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Lewis postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Lewis lands a couple of digs.

Lewis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Lewis trying to control but Killer is working from the bottom.

Killer is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Lewis is aware though and is defending well.

Killer looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Lewis is in close to Killer's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Lewis lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Lewis stands up over Killer, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Lewis is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Killer trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

Lewis lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Killer is looking for a triangle here but Lewis uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Killer is looking for a sweep.
Killer looking for a sweep but Lewis has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Lewis tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Killer tries to hold on but Lewis postures up.
Lewis manages to capitalize on a mistake by Killer to take his back!
Lewis connects with a series of strikes and the referee is calling for Killer to escape the position.
Lewis cracks Killer with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Killer from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.
Lewis lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.

Chief Killer's cut is getting worse.
Our spies down at at The Gentleman's Club inform us that Lewis has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Killer is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Lewis has his arm under Killer's chin here. Game over son! Lewis squeezes tightly and Killer is forced to tap out!
