Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Timo Bader!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaka Prawira!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Daniel Blasius and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prawira takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Prawira takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bader lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Prawira closes the distance and pushes Bader back into the cage.
Bader's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bader misses with an uppercut. Prawira saw that one coming.
Prawira gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Bader just misses with a punch to the body.
Prawira looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Bader connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Prawira is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bader tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Prawira was well out of range. Poor timing from Bader.
Bader jabs at Prawira's body.
Prawira tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bader paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bader, as that shot connected.
Prawira is still on wobbly legs! Can Bader finish him?
Prawira shoots for a double leg takedown but Bader sprawls well. He's pushed Prawira's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bader fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Prawira to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Prawira looks to clinch but Bader throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Prawira taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Timo Bader!
Timo Bader gave a mention to Voodoo Nutrition in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
In defeat, Jaka Prawira stepped up to the mic, saying 'That was a great fight'.
