A fine choice. McKill has chosen Welcome to the jungle, Guns n Roses. as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lukas Chomsli!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, Kev McKill !
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKill lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chomsli looks to land a right hand but McKill moved out of range.
Chomsli has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A looping hook to the body misses from McKill . Chomsli does a little dance to reset his feet.
Chomsli doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Chomsli gets the takedown into side control.
An elbow from Chomsli crashes against the mat.
Chomsli tries to advance position but instead McKill slips a leg back in to half guard.
Chomsli thows a huge punch but McKill dodges it nicely.
Chomsli has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Chomsli wants to pass to mount but McKill is defending the position.
Chomsli wants to take a breather but McKill is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chomsli is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! McKill is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Lukas Chomsli!
After the fight, Lukas Chomsli was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
