Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Donald Fisher!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Manson!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Daniel Blasius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisher thuds a left hand into Manson's body.
Manson with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Manson uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Fisher.
Manson appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Fisher will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Manson throws out a counter right but Fisher avoids it with no problem.
Manson throws a nice looking combination but Fisher bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Manson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Fisher manages to avoid it.
Fisher drops down looking for a counter takedown but Manson sprawls and moves away.

It seemed like Manson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Manson looks to score with a jab to the body but Fisher is just out of range.
Fisher is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

We've been hearing reports that Fisher has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Manson throws a shot from downtown. Fisher moves away and avoids it.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Fisher might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Fisher working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Manson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fisher gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Fisher postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Manson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fisher defends well.

Fisher throws a strike but Manson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Manson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Fisher swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fisher has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Manson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Manson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Manson avoids the attempt from Fisher to control.
Fisher is looking to improve his position but Manson isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close second round but I would say that Donald Fisher will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Fisher feints and as Manson raises his hands in defense, Fisher changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Donald Fisher overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Fisher wants to take a breather but Manson is having none of it.
Fisher is nestled in close to Manson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Manson is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Fisher frees his head nicely. Oh but Manson has switched to an armbar! Fisher is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
