Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bon Adrien De Moncey (ranked 6277 p4p, 2883 weight class) and Pete Vonshredder (ranked 615 p4p, 116 weight class). Vonshredder has chosen Nobody Speak as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Bon Adrien De Moncey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 24 - 17 - 1, fighting out of New York, Pete Vonshredder! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! De Moncey uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Vonshredder. De Moncey throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Vonshredder was covering up waiting for the punch and De Moncey finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Moncey would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. De Moncey trying to control but Vonshredder is working from the bottom. De Moncey trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Vonshredder wants to stand but De Moncey is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. De Moncey engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. De Moncey slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Vonshredder really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De Moncey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vonshredder can do anything to dispel that myth. De Moncey goes for an armbar but Vonshredder turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Vonshredder. De Moncey throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

De Moncey is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Vonshredder is aware though and is defending well. De Moncey escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. De Moncey had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Vonshredder defends it easily. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Bon Adrien De Moncey dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Vonshredder pushing out the jab but it's not landing. De Moncey on the wrong end of a nice hook. Vonshredder connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed De Moncey momentarily.
Vonshredder lands with a nice body punch. De Moncey looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Vonshredder is fending him off so far but De Moncey persists. Nope, Vonshredder circles away and we're back to standing. Vonshredder cracks De Moncey with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Vonshredder has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning De Moncey to stand back up!
De Moncey is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! De Moncey glances at the clock... BAM! Vonshredder nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends De Moncey crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, De Moncey is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
