Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Minoari Amida (ranked 6422 p4p, 6395 weight class) and Clark Gorzecki (ranked 626 p4p, 624 weight class). Minoari Amida has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Minoari Amida! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Clark Gorzecki! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Amida is looking to score with low kicks. Gorzecki takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Gorzecki misses with a straight left. Amida moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Gorzecki thows a left - swing and a miss! Gorzecki misses with a hook. Amida ducked under it nicely. Amida tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Gorzecki is able to avoid easily. Gorzecki with the counter takedown but Amida avoids it easily. Amida's corner calls for a 1-2. Amida obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Amida fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A slow jab from Gorzecki misses its intended target. Gorzecki decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Gorzecki keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Gorzecki prevents Amida from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gorzecki takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Amida on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Amida tries to get out of the position. Well, if Gorzecki is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Gorzecki's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Amida looks like he's trying to stand up.

It looks like Gorzecki might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Amida has hold of Gorzecki's hands but Gorzecki slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

Gorzecki looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Amida is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gorzecki scores with a couple of nice shots. Let's hope that Gorzecki has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. We've been informed that Gorzecki has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Gorzecki moves into full mount! Amida won't be happy about that! Gorzecki content just to control the position here. Gorzecki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gorzecki breaks from Amida's wrist control and lands an elbow. Amida is bucking up trying to escape but Gorzecki cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
