Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ben Pace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesu Guzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Pace might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesu Guzman!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guzman on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Pace throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Pace misses with a series of wild punches.
Pace misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pace fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Pace gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A short body shot lands from Pace as the two fighters clinch.

Pace breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pace tests Guzman's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Pace misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pace fails to land with a series of punches.

Pace is breathing heavily.
Pace tries to clinch but Guzman is having none of it.
Pace will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Pace looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Pace will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Guzman circles away from the clinch attempt.

Guzman gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Guzman controlling the position from side mount.
Pace knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Guzman on the ground.
Pace is looking to regain half guard here but Guzman keeps moving and retains side control.
Guzman staying calm.
Pace can't do much from the bottom here.

Pace tries to escape but Guzman is in control.
Pace tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Guzman should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Pace sneaks back into half guard.
Pace tries to get to full guard but Guzman has control of the leg.
Pace is staying active underneath Guzman, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Pace is trying to stand up here but Guzman is controlling him well.
Pace is looking to improve his position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Pace shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Guzman counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Pace's guard now.

Guzman thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Guzman trying to control the position from guard on top but Pace is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Pace wants to stand up but Guzman is controlling him.
Pace throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

Guzman is thwarting Pace's attempts to control the position.

Pace tries to get to full guard but Guzman has control of the leg.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Pace lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

and Guzman counters with a shoot takedown. Pace fights it but they end up in guard.

Guzman seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Pace is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
