Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wes Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Desmond Hume (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henderson comes to the cage accompanied by Crank That Remix. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Desmond Hume enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wes Henderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Desmond Hume! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hume tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hume tries to clinch but Henderson is having none of it. Wes Henderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Henderson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hume tries to clinch up but Henderson circles away and keeps his distance. Hume is looking to clinch but Henderson is avoiding it.
Henderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hume circles away quickly and effectively. Henderson avoids a kick to the body.
Henderson misses with a double jab.
Hume moves out of range as Henderson strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hume throws a leg kick which misses Henderson's front leg but catches the back leg as Henderson tries to avoid it. Hume fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Henderson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Hume moves into the clinch. Hume breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Hume doesn't manage to clinch there - Henderson circles away.
Henderson misses with a wild body shot. A punch combination from Henderson misses. Hume is looking to clinch. Henderson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fight stays on the outside here - Hume looks like he's thinking about clinching though. A telegraphed right hand from Henderson misses the target.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Hume throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Henderson's head. Hume darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Nice strikes from Hume there. Hume really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Henderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hume throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hume throwing shots but Henderson is blocking nicely. Henderson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hume trying to mount his opponent but Henderson defends it. Henderson has hold of Hume's hands but Hume slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hume connects with a nice short shot to Henderson's temple. Hume is trying to control. Henderson wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Henderson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Henderson is trying to maintain the position but Hume is very close to passing his half guard. Hume is nestled in close to Henderson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Hume is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Hume scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Hume working over Henderson with some ground and pound. Henderson looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Hume landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. It looks like Hume is going to stand back up.
Hume slips a nice elbow through Henderson's hands, connecting with Henderson's forehead. Henderson works his way to full guard. Good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hume wanted to stand there but Henderson had control of the position. Henderson is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Henderson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Hume can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Henderson has a closed guard, preventing Hume from standing up. Hume is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Hume working some strikes from top position. This has been an exciting period of action! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hume makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Henderson pulls Hume in close to prevent any damage. Henderson looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Henderson gets caught flat footed, as Hume shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hume trying to control the position from guard on top but Henderson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Henderson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hume gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Hume lands a couple of elbows. Hume lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Hume throwing strikes but missing. Henderson trying to control the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Hume throws a big right hand that misses. Henderson preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hume wants to control from the top but Henderson keeps moving. Hume throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hume is working Henderson over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Henderson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hume doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Henderson is tightening it up a little... Hume has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Hume reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Hume taps out! nice BJJ there by Henderson!
