Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mika Abreu (ranked 5638 p4p, 3336 weight class) and The Mass (ranked 431 p4p, 318 weight class). The Mass is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Abreu misses with a takedown attempt - Mass sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Abreu drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Mass manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Abreu has Mass in his guard.

Mass is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Abreu darts in looking for a takedown but Mass gets double underhooks and turns Abreu into the cage.
And Mass tries to counter it with a takedown but Abreu pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Mass is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Abreu presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Mass. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Mass stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Abreu swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Mass tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mass has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The Mass comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Mass has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, The Mass was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
