Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peguero Jean Philippe (ranked 556 p4p, 985 weight class) and Gus McCrae (ranked 76 p4p, 136 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Philippe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Chant vaudou haitien. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, Gus McCrae!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Percy O'Donnell and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Philippe misses with an uppercut.
Philippe scores with a jab to the jaw.
Philippe gets cracked there but stands up to it.
McCrae scores with a decent looking hook.

It looks like Peguero Jean Philippe has been cut.

McCrae clinches up against the cage.

McCrae loads up on a big right hand but Philippe slips the punch.
Philippe is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from McCrae.
McCrae cracks Philippe with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Philippe scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. McCrae doesn't seem bothered though.

McCrae smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Philippe tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but McCrae was well out of range. Poor timing from Philippe.

McCrae is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Philippe had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

McCrae uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Philippe.

Philippe uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before McCrae has time to react.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

McCrae moves in close and cracks Philippe with a massive right hand! Philippe, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by McCrae!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gus McCrae!
