Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Irish Power (ranked 3653 p4p, 3909 weight class) and J Gay G (ranked 340 p4p, 364 weight class). Gay G is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Down. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Irish Power!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, J Gay G!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gay G shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Power manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Gay G with a flurry of punches that miss.
Power keeping full guard, as Gay G tries to pass.
Gay G has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gay G being controlled here momentarily.
Gay G wants to control from the top but Power keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gay G pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Power is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Power keeping moving, preventing Gay G from controlling successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gay G wants to pass the guard but Power is keeping the position.
Gay G working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gay G pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Power is keeping the position for now.
Gay G is working Power over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Power wants to sweep here but Gay G controlling him for the moment.
Power controls Gay G momentarily but Gay G frees himself.
Gay G stays in close to Power's body and controls the position.
Gay G tries to free his leg and advance position but Power is retaining full guard.
Power can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Gay G controls the pace.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Gay G goes for a double leg but Power avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Power continues to drive forward.
Power is looking to counter punch.
Gay G misses with a takedown attempt
and Gay G takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A big left from Power misses.
Gay G throws a body shot but no joy.
We've been told by Power's head coaches at MMA Dojo (Top Gym in Tokyo*) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gay G drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Gay G is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Power's shoulder. That is not cool.
Gay G tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Gay G is working to tighten his grip on Power's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Power has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gay G is really squeezing tight and eventually Power passes out! Gay G breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). J Gay G!
J Gay G decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
