Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Marcelo DeAngelis!
The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeAngelis changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
DeAngelis ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
DeAngelis throws a leg kick which misses Haardt's front leg but catches the back leg as Haardt tries to avoid it.
Haardt misses with the combination.
An inside leg kick lands from DeAngelis.
Haardt wants to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Haardt throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
DeAngelis chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Haardt misses the shot to the body.

DeAngelis scores with a decent looking hook.

It looks like Bertel Haardt has been cut.
DeAngelis's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and DeAngelis duly obliges.

Haardt tries to close the distance and clinch but DeAngelis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Haardt looks to land a combination but DeAngelis avoids it well.
Bertel Haardt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
DeAngelis connects with a leg kick.
DeAngelis motions for Haardt to come forward. DeAngelis throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Haardt on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Haardt misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
DeAngelis throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
