Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chris Davis (ranked 24554 p4p, 4586 weight class) and Treshane Presha (ranked 653 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Treshane Presha! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Columbo Gatti and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Presha tries to clinch but Davis moves out of range. Davis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Presha tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Davis manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Davis tries to counter by clinching up but Presha breaks away and moves out of range. Treshane Presha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Presha gets tackled into the cage by Davis. Davis maintains the clinch. Presha is trying to push Davis away but Davis has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Presha working hard to break the clinch. Davis gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Presha regains guard.
Presha is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Davis is aware though and is defending well. Davis stands up from guard. Let's bang! Presha gets a clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Davis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Presha changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Davis tries to avoid it but Presha manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Davis to the ground. Davis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A counter left hand to the body from Davis misses its target. Davis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Presha manages to avoid it. Presha tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davis swats him away and circles back towards the center. Presha stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Davis.
That's one minute gone in the round. Presha is looking to clinch but Davis is avoiding it.
Chris Davis is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Davis circles away from the clinch attempt.
Davis keeps the fight on the outside. Davis drops down looking for a counter takedown but Presha sprawls and moves away. Davis moves into range and clinches up with Presha. Davis manages to break the clinch.
Davis tries to keep at a distance but Presha has taken the fight into the clinch. Davis gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
It looks like Treshane Presha has been cut. Davis lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Davis trying to control the action but Presha is working from the bottom. Presha tries to get to full guard but Davis has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Davis is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Presha! Davis is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Presha tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davis swats him away and circles back towards the center. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Presha scores with a spinning back kick! Presha closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Davis gets a clinch. Davis escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Presha throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Davis tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Presha is in Davis's guard. Davis has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Presha is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Presha fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Davis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Presha fails miserably with a takedown attempt. It looked like Davis wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Chris Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Treshane Presha.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Presha slips a jab and a cross from Davis.
Presha swings widly with a right hand
and Davis counters with a one-two to the body. Davis clinches up against the cage. Davis's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Davis gets a clinch. Davis breaks the clinch.
Davis lands a high kick to the side of Presha's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Davis dives into guard, looking to finish. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Davis decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Davis moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
That has opened up Treshane Presha's cut even more. Presha throws a leg kick and Davis holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Davis pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Davis drives through and clinches with Presha against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Presha fails to land. Davis can't get the takedown.
Davis manages to break the clinch.
Presha drives through with a takedown into guard. Davis is breathing heavily. Davis keeping moving, preventing Presha from controlling successfully. Davis has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Presha can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Presha trying to control but Davis is working from the bottom. Presha would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Davis dominated that round. The cut man is working on Treshane Presha's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Davis gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Davis manages to break the clinch.
Presha is trying hard to land a takedown here. Davis sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Davis throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Presha stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Davis follows into mount!
Presha is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Davis misses with a head shot. Davis is standing up, even though he is in mount. Davis instigates a clinch. Davis manages to break the clinch.
Presha doesn't succeed with the takedown and Davis counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Presha looks to clinch and Davis counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Presha swings widly with a right hand
and Davis counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Davis. Davis breaks the clinch.
Presha throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Davis's waist but Davis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Presha off to one side. Chris Davis has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Treshane Presha. Presha is breathing heavily. Davis closes the distance and clinches. Presha is trying to break free. Davis breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chris Davis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Presha has taken the fight to the clinch.
Presha tries to pull guard but Davis holds him up against the cage and eventually Presha drops back down to his feet.
A frustrated look appears on Presha's face as he tries to break the clinch. Davis breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Davis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
The cut above Treshane Presha's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Presha is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Davis with a jab. Presha takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Presha tries to clinch but Davis moves out of range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Presha tries to close the distance and clinch but Davis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Presha doesn't manage to clinch there - Davis circles away.
Davis throws a quick inside leg kick. Presha tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Davis counters with a shoot takedown. Presha fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Davis gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Chris Davis is winning the standup battle so far. Davis lands a head kick that stumbles Presha and the fighters go to the mat. Presha is still in real trouble! Can Davis finish him?
Treshane Presha's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Treshane Presha's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Chris Davis!
