Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Brat (ranked 4468 p4p, 5228 weight class) and Bruna Faria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

Faria shoots for a takedown but Brat saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Brat defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Faria.

Brat gets a double leg takedown into Faria's guard.
Faria wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Brat manages to pass to side control.

We've been informed that Faria has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Brat decides to stand back up. Brat steps back and let's Faria get back to his feet.

Faria manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Faria drops down looking for an ankle pick but Brat pulls his leg out and moves away.

Faria looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brat is fending him off so far but Faria persists. Nope, Brat circles away and we're back to standing.

Brat shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Faria but Faria pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Faria sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Brat's guard.
Brat scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Faria manages to mount him!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Faria has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Brat's face.

Brat tries to lock up and control but Faria gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Brat is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Faria is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Brat to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Brat shrugs it off.
Faria takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Faria is working for a guillotine from mount but Brat frees his head quite easily.
Brat tries to lock up and control but Faria gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Faria is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Brat can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Brat tries to reverse the position but Faria maintains control.

Brat fails with an attempt to clinch.
Faria appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Brat decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Faria holds on and takes a little breather.
