Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Decker (ranked 3677 p4p, 5470 weight class) and Henki Henkinhp (ranked 478 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Decker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henki Henkinhp!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.

Decker looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Henkinhp!
Decker throwing strikes but Henkinhp manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Decker is looking to regain half guard here but Henkinhp keeps moving and retains side control.
Decker can't do much from the bottom here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Decker tries to buck Henkinhp off but Henkinhp is having none of it.
Decker looking for a sweep but Henkinhp has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Decker is in all sorts of trouble here.

Decker tries to lock up and control but Henkinhp gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Henkinhp stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Henkinhp fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Decker manages to avoid it.
Decker is looking to counter punch.
Decker shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Henkinhp sprawls well. Henkinhp wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Decker gets slowly back to his feet.
Decker takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Henkinhp digs a good body shot into Decker's ribs.
Decker jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Henkinhp clinches up against the cage.

Decker wants a takedown.

Decker tightens his grip and picks Henkinhp up, before dumping him to the ground. Henkinhp manages to land in guard.
Henkinhp wants to stand and escape but Decker is having none of it.
Decker is in close to Henkinhp's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Decker working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Decker stays in close to Henkinhp's body and controls the position.
Henkinhp keeping moving, preventing Decker from controlling successfully.
Decker forces his way into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Decker looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Decker working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Decker thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Decker lands with a punch from half guard.
Henkinhp is not content to let Decker control the position.
Decker throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Henkinhp to regain full guard.
Decker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Decker prevents Henkinhp from getting back to his feet.
Decker has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Henkinhp looks winded!

Decker decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Henkinhp, up you get!

Decker rushes Henkinhp and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Decker keeps control of Henkinhp as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Decker gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Decker trying to control the action but Henkinhp is working from the bottom.
Decker throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Decker takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Henkinhp has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Decker is working away from the top position though.
Decker drops an elbow to the side of Henkinhp's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Decker seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Henkinhp does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Decker lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Decker thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Henkinhp's head.
Decker lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Decker will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

A telegraphed takedown attempt from Decker is defended easily by Henkinhp.
Decker tries to score a power double leg takedown but Henkinhp sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Decker somewhat.
Ryan Decker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Henkinhp misses with a takedown attempt - Decker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Henkinhp bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Decker's head backwards.
Henkinhp keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Decker. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Henkinhp is trying to force a seperation but Decker has the dominant position.
Decker jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Henkinhp walks away with a smile on his face. Decker gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Decker moves into range and clinches up with Henkinhp.

Henkinhp manages to break the clinch.
Henkinhp misses with the combination.
Decker shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Henkinhp defends it nicely.
Henkinhp wants to counter the offense by Decker and move into the clinch position.

Decker dives in and scores a takedown into Henkinhp's guard.

Decker throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Decker lands a couple of digs.
Decker distracts Henkinhp with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Henkinhp is breathing heavily.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Decker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Decker lands a couple of elbows.

Henkinhp pushes Decker off and scrambles back to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Henkinhp lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Ryan Decker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Henkinhp tests Decker's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Decker shoots for a double leg takedown but Henkinhp sprawls well. He's pushed Decker's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Decker looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Henkinhp with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Decker connects with a nice short shot to Henkinhp's temple.

Decker wants to lay and pray for a moment but Henkinhp keeps working.

Decker decides to stand and escape the position.

Decker closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Henkinhp quickly recovers to half guard.

Decker working over Henkinhp with some ground and pound. Henkinhp looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Henkinhp is still in real trouble! Can Decker finish him?
Decker winds up and cracks Henkinhp with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Decker is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Henkinhp is hurt! He's hurt bad - Decker fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Henkinhp from any more punishment! Congratulations to Decker! Great finish!
