Coming up we have a light heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Carlotos Spiteri (ranked 6225 p4p, 2448 weight class) and Sortek Redfist (ranked 632 p4p, 318 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Spiteri might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Day to day basis. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Carlotos Spiteri!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 31 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sortek Redfist!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spiteri takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Spiteri's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Redfist connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Spiteri scrambles back to his feet.
Redfist scores with a leg kick.
Spiteri circles away from the clinch attempt
and Spiteri counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Redfist lands a head shot.
A clash of legs there as Spiteri blocks the low kick.
It looked like Spiteri wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

No, he's flopped back to the mat - he's out - this one is all over!

Carlotos Spiteri was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
