Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Myles Ruth (ranked 4418 p4p, 4603 weight class) and Willie Stroker (ranked 502 p4p, 519 weight class). Stroker has chosen AViVA - E V I L as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Willie Stroker!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroker lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Ruth backs up against the cage.
Ruth fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Stroker manages to avoid it.
Stroker avoids the body shot from Ruth.
Stroker goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Ruth connects with a good right hand that stumbles Stroker. Stroker circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Stroker is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Ruth scores with the left hand. Stroker knows he should have avoided that one.

Ruth has been working on his balance at Brooklyn MMA & Fitness, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Stroker.

Myles Ruth overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ruth, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
