Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jesse Turner!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mendoza takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Mendoza scores with a shot to the body.
Turner swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Mendoza with a jab.
Turner avoids a punch combination nicely.
Turner rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Mendoza connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mendoza looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Mendoza is standing up over Turner. Turner looks to escape but Mendoza dives into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee asks Mendoza politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Mendoza prefers to stall for the moment though.
Turner is pushing Mendoza's head away, looking to escape. Mendoza manages to hold on to the position though.
Mendoza tries for a kimura but Turner is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mendoza is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Turner is trying to escape and Mendoza transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Turner is forced to tap! Nice work there by Mendoza! Very nice indeed!

After the fight, Luiz Mendoza was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
In defeat, Jesse Turner stepped up to the mic, saying 'fuck it'.
