PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight kickboxing rules bout between Little Bastard (ranked 2889 p4p, 2818 weight class) and Kazuhisa Nagashima (ranked 146 p4p, 142 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Bastard might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Side to Side. Kazuhisa Nagashima has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Nagashima does it's job there.
Nagashima lands a leg kick that knocks Bastard off balance momentarily.
Bastard takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Bastard throws a series of strikes that have Nagashima backpedaling.
Nagashima bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A nice inside leg kick there by Nagashima. That's going to slow Bastard down.

Bastard looks to land a combination but Nagashima avoids it well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bastard stalks Nagashima and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nagashima's face. Nagashima staggers backwards, shaken.
Nagashima throws an overhand right that lands on Bastard's shoulder, as Bastard tries to avoid the shot.
Nagashima lands a nice hook to Bastard's body. Bastard takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bastard lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nagashima circles away quickly and effectively.
Nagashima lands with an uppercut that bounces Bastard off the ropes and back into range.
Nagashima throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bastard.
It looked like Bastard was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Bastard checks a low kick from Nagashima.
Bastard seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Bastard misses with a low kick.
Nagashima looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Bastard misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nagashima ducks under a wild hook from Bastard.
A nice side step and Nagashima releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Nagashima fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Bastard takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Bastard takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Bastard motions for Nagashima to come forward. Bastard throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Bastard takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Bastard is rocked!
Nagashima feints with a left and delivers a massive head kick! Bastard collapses like a ragdoll! Game over!

A relieved looking Kazuhisa Nagashima thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
