The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
James has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

James swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Pimba is now in James's guard. A big mistake from James there, giving up the dominant position!
James utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Pimba wants to stand and escape but instead James has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Pimba is looking to stand up but James isn't so interested in that idea.

That was a close round but I would say that Tyson James will probably get the nod.
