Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mono Loco!
The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Topper Green and Ben Watson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reedtz looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Loco!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Loco closes the distance and clinches up with Reedtz, looking for a takedown. Loco pushes Reedtz against the cage but Reedtz circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Reedtz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Loco manages to avoid it.

Loco changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Reedtz tries to avoid it but Loco manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Reedtz to the ground. Reedtz escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Reedtz stuffs the takedown attempt from Loco. Loco gets slowly back to his feet.
Rasmus Reedtz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mono Loco.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Loco drops his hands momentarily and Reedtz takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Nice shot lands for Reedtz.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Rasmus Reedtz dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.


Reedtz shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Reedtz was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Loco tries to buck Reedtz off but Reedtz is having none of it.
Rasmus Reedtz overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Loco is not content to let Reedtz control the position.
Reedtz is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Loco is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loco tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Reedtz wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Reedtz remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Loco is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Loco has hold of Reedtz's hands but Reedtz slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Loco is trying to control but can't.

Loco is looking to cinch up a triangle. Reedtz throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Loco's body to avoid the submission. Loco has instead reached around Reedtz's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Loco arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Mono Loco!
A very excited looking Mono Loco made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
