Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aron Egomi (ranked 2282 p4p, 4161 weight class) and Thor Nordquist (ranked 249 p4p, 417 weight class). Egomi's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Hand of doom by Manowar. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Egomi throws an overhand right that lands on Nordquist's shoulder, as Nordquist tries to avoid the shot.
Nordquist swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
A jab from Nordquist misses.
Nordquist throws a right and a left that both miss.
The crowd cheers as Nordquist lands an impressive looking overhand right. Egomi doesn't seem phased though.
The fight stays on the outside here - Egomi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Nordquist misses the jab.

Nordquist misses the shot to the body.
Egomi lands a really nice looking cross but Nordquist seems unphased.
Egomi works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Egomi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Nordquist swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Egomi scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nordquist bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Despite the aggression on Nordquist's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Egomi throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Egomi lands a nice shot to the body.
Nordquist throws a body shot but no joy.
Egomi wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Egomi ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Nordquist out cold! The fight is over!
