The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tyson gets caught flat footed, as Drouin shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Tyson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Drouin pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tyson is keeping the position for now.

Tyson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Drouin is pushing down on Tyson 's leg trying to pass to half guard. Tyson is fighting to maintain full guard but Drouin has managed to sneak the leg through.

Tyson wants to get back to full guard.

Drouin wants to work for an arm triangle but Tyson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Tyson is trying to control but can't.
Tyson is looking to improve his position.
Tyson wants to control but Drouin is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Tyson looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Drouin is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Tyson defends it well.

Tyson is looking for a sweep. Drouin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Tyson shoots in for a takedown but Drouin shows good takedown defense.
Drouin works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Chandler Tyson has been cut.
Tyson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Drouin defends it nicely.

Drouin has an Americana. Tyson didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Drouin is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Drouin hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
