Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Ward (ranked 2970 p4p, 1587 weight class) and Arriorus Adee (ranked 380 p4p, 224 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Maxim Ward!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arriorus Adee!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Adee misses with a right hand
and Ward counters with a nice uppercut.
Adee closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
A shot to the liver by Adee. Beautiful body shot.
Adee will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

and Ward counters with a nice double leg into side control. Adee won't be happy with that.

Ward thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Adee can do anything to dispel that myth.

Ward is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Adee sees it coming and defends easily.

Ward has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Ward is looking to stall here but Adee recovers full guard.

Ward is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Adee!
Adee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ward. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ward connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Ward has control of Adee's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Adee regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Ward throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.

Ward cracks Adee with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Adee is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Adee really wants to buck Ward off and get back to his feet.

Adee is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Ward presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Ward has Adee pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Ward pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Adee tumbling to the mat - Ward dives into Adee's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

It looked like Ward was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Adee.

That was a close second round but I would say that Maxim Ward will probably get the nod.
That's time! Ward's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Adee has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Ward is proving hard to escape from.

Maxim Ward is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Adee throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Ward because Adee loaded up on that one.
Ward is looking to improve his position but Adee isn't that keen on the idea.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Adee cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

A very excited looking Maxim Ward rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
