And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Bot #1!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Andrew Berry and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alexander with a hook.

It looks like Bot #1 has been cut.
Alexander lands a jab to #1's midsection.
#1 digs a good hook to Alexander's body.
Alexander ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Alexander was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
#1 fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alexander manages to avoid it.
Alexander misses with a wild combination.
#1 throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Alexander takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Bot #1 seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
#1 throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
#1 cracks Alexander with an open hand slap.
#1 throws out a loose jab but Alexander uses good head movement to avoid it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
#1 connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Decent striking displayed by #1 there.
The fighters circling - Alexander throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
#1 throws a lazy right hand but Alexander sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A quick step to the side and Alexander tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
#1 fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Alexander manages to avoid it.
Alexander takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
#1 throws a body shot but no joy.
#1 looks to land a right hand but Alexander moved out of range.
Alexander ducks under a wild hook from #1.

#1 clinches up against the cage.
Alexander wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but #1 has him pressed against the cage.
#1 misses with some punches.

Alexander breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#1 waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Alexander.
It looked like Alexander wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
#1 throws a jab but it's blocked by Alexander.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
#1 avoids a punch combination nicely.
Alexander takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
#1 lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Alexander at a distance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
#1 works Alexander's body with a nice hook.
#1 has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Alexander uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from #1.

A telegraphed right hand from Alexander misses the target.
#1 scores with a nice right hand.
#1 misses with an uppercut. Alexander saw that one coming.
#1 slips a jab and a cross from Alexander.

Nice straight punches there by Alexander. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Alexander.
Alexander displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as #1 throws out the jab.

#1 forces Alexander back against the cage and clinches.
#1 misses with the head strike.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for #1.
#1 lands a body shot.

#1 manages to break the clinch.
#1 just misses with a punch to the body.
Alexander lands a jab to the nose.
#1 takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Alexander slips under a jab from #1.
#1 gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
#1 tries to clinch up.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jab, jab by #1 - just one landing.

Alexander is rocked!
#1 throws a pinpoint strike between Alexander's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Alexander crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and #1 scores a great knockout victory!
