Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Krylov (ranked 310 p4p, 409 weight class) and Lev Davidovitch Bronstein (ranked 53 p4p, 13 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Boris Krylov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Lev Davidovitch Bronstein!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bronstein shoots in but no luck this time.
Krylov connects with a body shot.
Bronstein dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
We've been told by Krylov's head coaches at No Stepchild - No Entrance that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Lev Davidovitch Bronstein seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
No luck for Bronstein with that takedown attempt.
Bronstein is looking to clinch but Krylov is avoiding it.
Krylov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bronstein.
Boris Krylov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lev Davidovitch Bronstein.

Bronstein gets the takedown into side control.
Bronstein is looking to take a break and control but Krylov is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Bronstein misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Krylov can't do much from the bottom here.
Krylov manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bronstein not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Bronstein throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Bronstein winds up and cracks Krylov with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

It looks like Boris Krylov has been cut.
Krylov blocking the ground and pound attempt from Bronstein.
Bronstein controlling the action here.
Bronstein scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Boris Krylov's cut is getting worse.
Krylov is looking to improve his position.

Bronstein thows a huge punch but Krylov dodges it nicely.
Bronstein not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Bronstein is just content to waste time from the top position. Krylov takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Bronstein loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Krylov is adopting a defensive guard.
Krylov has momentary wrist control but Bronstein slips an elbow through the middle.
Bronstein has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Bronstein misses with a takedown
and Krylov counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Boris Krylov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bronstein has his takedown stuffed
enabling Krylov to counter with a crisp jab.
Krylov lands a jab to the head.

It looks like Lev Davidovitch Bronstein has been cut.
Krylov pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Bronstein back to the cage. Krylov follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
A slapping leg kick lands for Krylov.
Bronstein shoots in for a double leg but Krylov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Krylov comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Bronstein darts in looking for a takedown but Krylov gets double underhooks and turns Bronstein into the cage.
Krylov looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Krylov ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bronstein looks winded!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Krylov's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Krylov duly obliges.
Bronstein shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Krylov defends it nicely.
Krylov throwing a counter right hand but Bronstein manages to avoid it.
Krylov lands a right hook to the body.
Bronstein closes the distance but Krylov moves to the side
and Krylov counters with a straight right hand.
Bronstein throws a body punch but Krylov moves out of range.
Krylov lands a jab.
Bronstein throws a left and a right that both miss
and as Bronstein loses concentration momentarily, Krylov counters with a picture perfect head kick! Bronstein goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Boris Krylov!
A very excited looking Boris Krylov rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
