Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dave McDonald! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dimitri Paine! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McDonald dodges the punch combination from Paine.
McDonald wants to land a leg kick but Paine is out of range. McDonald has Paine up against the cage in a clinch.
Paine wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Paine controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. McDonald not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Paine wants to get up but he can't break McDonald's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. McDonald is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
