Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Evil Dead (ranked 289 p4p, 298 weight class) and Ryan Landry (ranked 42 p4p, 44 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Evil Dead!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Landry!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dead keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Landry.
Landry has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dead finds it's way round the side to connect with Landry's head.
That kick from Dead tenderised Landry's leg. Landry is trying to keep his angry face on.
Landry bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Dead waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Landry.
Despite the aggression on Landry's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Landry moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Dead looks to score with a jab to the body but Landry is just out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Evil Dead seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dead jabs Landry right on the nose. Landry blinks but takes it well.
Landry throws out a loose jab but Dead uses good head movement to avoid it.

Dead motions for Landry to come forward. Dead throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

enabling Landry to counter with a crisp jab.
Dead missing with a left hand there. Landry was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Landry let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.

An attempted straight right counter from Dead misses the target.
Dead takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Dead looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Dead punishes Landry's body with a nice straight punch.
Landry misses the shot to the body.
Dead seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.

Landry uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Dead.
A nice side step and Landry releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Dead connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Landry loads up on a big right hand but Dead slips the punch.
A quick step to the side and Dead tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Good exchange - Dead coming out on top.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Landry checks a leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dead buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Landry connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Dead's hands.
Dead throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dead. Landry does a little dance to reset his feet.

Landry drops Dead with a big left hand! Dead is injured, injured bad! Landry jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
