PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between DeShawn Jones (ranked 4458 p4p, 4474 weight class) and Joe Jon (ranked 532 p4p, 471 weight class). The key to victory for DeShawn Jones has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, DeShawn Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Jon!
The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Summer Carpenter and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones closes the distance and pushes Jon back into the cage.
Jon is working for takedown but Jones is calmly controlling the position for now.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Jon enables Jones to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Jon manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
