Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sultan Figueroa (ranked 1211 p4p, 1202 weight class) and Johnny Guatar (ranked 144 p4p, 141 weight class). Figueroa's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Horseshoe Gang -Top Ramen Nigga. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Figueroa connects with a single shot there.
Figueroa has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Guatar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Guatar works Figueroa's body with a nice hook.
Guatar scores with a jab. Figueroa acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

A looping hook to the body misses from Guatar. Figueroa does a little dance to reset his feet.
A decent looking cross lands there for Guatar.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Guatar is looking to slow Figueroa down with leg kicks.
Figueroa scores with a crisp jab that stopped Guatar in his tracks.
Figueroa feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Guatars jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Figueroa swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Guatar throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Guatar takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Johnny Guatar has been cut.
Nice defenses there by Figueroa.

Figueroa connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Guatar fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Figueroa is out of range.
Figueroa throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Guatar is rocked!
Figueroa uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Guatar.
Guatar is still on wobbly legs! Can Figueroa finish him?
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Figueroa engages and cracks Guatar with a massive lead left hook - Guatar tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Figueroa is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sultan Figueroa!
