Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Punch McDermott (ranked 3440 p4p, 3683 weight class) and Kyle Durston (ranked 420 p4p, 442 weight class). McDermott comes to the cage accompanied by Drunk In Love. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Kyle Durston enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Punch McDermott!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kyle Durston!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McDermott fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Durston, pushing him back against the cage.
McDermott cracks Durston with a nice body shot.
A short uppercut from McDermott.
McDermott softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Durston breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Durston throws a right and a left that both miss.
McDermott fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Durston on the side of the head.
McDermott shoots for a double leg takedown but Durston sprawls well. He's pushed McDermott's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
McDermott clinches with his opponent.
McDermott lands with a right to the head.
McDermott content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Durston gets underhooks to prevent McDermott's takedown attempt.
Durston tries for a takedown. No joy.
McDermott is pressed up against the cage. Durston has hold of a leg and is looking to drag McDermott down to the mat. McDermott avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Punch McDermott seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McDermott connects with a good right hand that stumbles Durston. Durston circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Durston shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as McDermott sprawls well. McDermott wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Durston gets slowly back to his feet.
McDermott seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.

Durston has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McDermott finds it's way round the side to connect with Durston's head.

McDermott is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.

Durston has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by McDermott after a bit of a struggle.
McDermott lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Punch McDermott very nearly forgot to thank HELLBENT amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
