Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Khizri Aliyev!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Roman Hahn!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aliyev misses with a looping left.
Hahn throws a nice looking combination but Aliyev bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Aliyev has a takedown stuffed.
Aliyev swings for the body but Hahn moves out of range.
Aliyev looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Aliyev fails with the takedown
and Hahn counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Sloppy strikes from Hahn. Those never looked like landing.
Aliyev looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Hahn is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Aliyev avoids a punch combination nicely.
Aliyev takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Hahn lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aliyev lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hahn's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hahn duly obliges.
It looks like Khizri Aliyev has been cut.
Hahn jabs Aliyev to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hahn closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Aliyev connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hahn's hands.
Hahn slips under a jab.
Hahn is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Oooooh!!! Hahn has knocked Aliyev down with a huge combo! Hahn steps away and waves a wobbly Aliyev back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Aliyev is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Hahn ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Aliyev clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
