Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Khalid Masaev (ranked 4459 p4p, 5171 weight class) and Max Zulu (ranked 506 p4p, 561 weight class). Khalid Masaev is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Max Zulu!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Masaev moves into the clinch.

Zulu gets control of Masaev's arms and successfully pulls guard. Zulu will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Masaev throws a big right hand that misses.
Masaev cracks Zulu with a solid left hand.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Masaev prevents Zulu from improving his position.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Masaev connects with a nice short shot to Zulu's temple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Zulu pushes Masaev off looking to stand but Masaev dives back in and keeps control.
Zulu wants to improve his position but Masaev is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Zulu wants to control but Masaev is keeping busy.
Zulu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
