Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wang Fire !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Testy Test!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ben Hemmingworth and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Fire .
A looping hook to the body misses from Test. Fire does a little dance to reset his feet.
Fire connects with a crisp jab.
A jab from Test misses.
Fire changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Fire fails in his attempt to clinch.
A little jabbing left from Test on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Fire tries to clinch up but Test circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Fire is defended easily by Test.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Test looks to throw the jab but Fire is out of range.
Test digs a good hook to Fire 's body.
Fire tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Test manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Testy Test is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Test leaves Fire with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Fire shoots in for a takedown but Test shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wang Fire . That's going to take a lot out of him.
Fire ducks under a wild hook from Test.
Fire moves to clinch but Test breaks away
and Test counters with a stiff right hand.
A swing and a miss from Test.
Fire went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Fire fails with a takedown attempt.
Fire shoots in for a takedown but Test shows good takedown defense.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Test sends Fire crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Test is motioning to the referee to let Fire up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Fire is rocked!
Fire is breathing heavily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Test engages and cracks Fire with a massive lead left hook - Fire tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Test is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Testy Test!
