Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jack Murray (ranked 4283 p4p, 3760 weight class) and Sam Drnold (ranked 453 p4p, 402 weight class). Murray's entrance music is Suffer Well. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jack Murray!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Drnold!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drnold darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Drnold uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Drnold digs a good hook to Murray's body.
We've been told by Murray's head coaches at Power Plant MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Drnold scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Murray doesn't seem bothered though.

Drnold is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Murray's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Murray's back!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Murray looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Drnold has picked Murray up and slammed him! Murray can't keep hold of the triangle and Drnold manages to pass to side control!
Drnold takes a little break here. Murray wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Drnold is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Murray's shoulder. That is not cool.

Drnold connects with a good right hand that stumbles Murray. Murray circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Drnold steps in with a hook that catches Murray right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Drnold follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Murray looks absolutely devastated.
