Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peleki Tuala (ranked 23 p4p, 85 weight class) and Bismack Kagonbo (ranked 4 p4p, 11 weight class). Tuala comes to the cage accompanied by Dock of Fiji. Kagonbo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Voodoo kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice uppercut lands for Kagonbo. That snapped Tuala's head back.

It looks like Peleki Tuala has been cut.
Tuala throws a series of punches but Kagonbo moves out of range.

Tuala swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tuala fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kagonbo looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Kagonbo throws a jab but it's blocked by Tuala.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tuala throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kagonbo takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.

and Kagonbo connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bismack Kagonbo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tuala tries to land a front kick but Kagonbo steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Tuala cracks Kagonbo with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tuala has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kagonbo to stand back up!

Tuala closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Kagonbo! Tuala dives in looking to finish! Kagonbo is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
