Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 20 - 19 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Ernest Graves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Akio Kurosaki! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Graves tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kurosaki swivels and escapes. Graves shoots in for a double leg but Kurosaki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kurosaki leaves Graves with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ernest Graves. That's going to take a lot out of him. Graves is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kurosaki sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Good standup being displayed there by Kurosaki as he connects with a hook.
 It looks like Ernest Graves has been cut. Kurosaki stuffs the takedown attempt from Graves. Graves gets slowly back to his feet. Kurosaki looks like he wants to counter punch here. Graves throws a series of punches but Kurosaki moves out of range. Graves has been working on his balance at Tōshi, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Kurosaki. Graves scores with a nice strike. Kurosaki tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kurosaki lands a jab.
 Graves is rocked! Ernest Graves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kurosaki steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Graves is out on his feet! Kurosaki sets himself and nearly takes Graves's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Akio Kurosaki! Akio Kurosaki tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
