The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Graves tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kurosaki swivels and escapes.
Graves shoots in for a double leg but Kurosaki sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Kurosaki leaves Graves with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ernest Graves. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Graves is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kurosaki sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Ernest Graves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kurosaki steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Graves is out on his feet! Kurosaki sets himself and nearly takes Graves's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

Akio Kurosaki tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
