Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Topics (ranked 4315 p4p, 4586 weight class) and Ricky Stuart (ranked 406 p4p, 416 weight class). Topics comes to the cage accompanied by No role models- J cole. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stuart throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Topics .
Topics will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stuart's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Stuart changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Topics tries to avoid it but Stuart manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Topics to the ground. Topics escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Stuart is taking a breather. Topics says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Topics keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Stuart throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Topics 's waist but Topics gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Stuart off to one side.
Topics was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Horrible takedown attempt by Topics or perhaps it was just good defense by Stuart, which made it look bad.

Well Stuart has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
