Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Vico (ranked 2929 p4p, 4555 weight class) and Diego Magnifico (ranked 385 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Diego Magnifico!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnifico shoots in and gets a takedown into Vico's guard.
Vico wants to sweep here but Magnifico controlling him for the moment.
Magnifico with a nice head shot there.
Magnifico slips nicely into half guard.
Magnifico wants to control but Vico is keeping him busy.
Vico is trying to control but can't.
Magnifico thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Vico's head.
Magnifico working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Magnifico is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Vico!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Magnifico lands a nice shot to the head.
Magnifico connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vico is in a horrible position here. Magnifico smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Magnifico lands a couple of good shots and Vico has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

Magnifico lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Magnifico tries to keep control of the position but Vico is staying busy.
Magnifico gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Vico is rocked!
Magnifico lands a good shot there. Vico covers up! Magnifico smells blood and goes for the finish - the referee warns Vico to improve his position but he's not intelligently defending himself and the referee has no choice but to step in and end the fight! Magnifico jumps to his feet and celebrates the important win with his cornermen!
