Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Apollo Turner (ranked 6136 p4p, 3636 weight class) and Kendrick Chromium (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chromium has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Kendrick Chromium has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chromium on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Turner. Turner obviously looking to wear him down.
Turner looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Turner fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chromium.
Turner really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Turner throws a nice outside leg kick.
That kick from Turner tenderised Chromium's leg. Chromium is trying to keep his angry face on.
A nice inside leg kick there by Turner. That's going to slow Chromium down.
Turner scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Apollo Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Turner lands a leg kick that knocks Chromium off balance momentarily.
Chromium avoids a punch combination nicely.

and Chromium counters with a single leg into guard. Turner didn't expect that.

Chromium drops back looking for a leg! Turner is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Turner manages to kick Chromium off! Chromium jumps back into Turner's guard.

Chromium drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chromium jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Turner has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Chromium has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Chromium is looking for a takedown.

Chromium is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Turner is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
