Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between StepOn Struve (ranked 4360 p4p, 4527 weight class) and Frank Baker (ranked 0 p4p, 464 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, StepOn Struve! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Baker! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Steve Montenegro and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Struve rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Baker counters with a nice double leg into side control. Struve won't be happy with that. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Baker working the body and head with strikes. Baker lands a nice forearm strike.
It looks like StepOn Struve has been cut. Baker is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Struve knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Baker controlling the position. Baker wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Struve, who protects the arm well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Baker controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Baker stands up. Struve blocks a head kick by Baker.
Struve throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Baker checks the leg kick nicely there.
Frank Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Baker is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Struve's half guard. Baker is taking a breather. Struve says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Baker looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Baker works his foot free and advances to mount. Baker working for a guillotine from mount but Struve is in no mood to give up. This has been an exciting period of action! Baker lands a heavy elbow. Baker with the ground and pound from mount. Baker lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Struve is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Baker locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Struve is forced to tap!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Frank Baker! During a confident post fight interview, Frank Baker thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
