Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alex Kozlovski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Jacque Custo!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Eliza Hachem and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kozlovski connects with a crisp jab.
It looks like Jean Jacque Custo has been cut.
Kozlovski throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A telegraphed right hand from Kozlovski misses the target.
We've been hearing reports that Kozlovski has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Kozlovski looks to land a left hand but Custo moved out of range nicely.
Custo looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Custo content to stall in guard here.
Kozlovski wants to stand up but Custo is controlling him.
Custo forces his way into half guard.
Custo stops Kozlovski from getting back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Custo stalling.
Kozlovski pushes Custo off and gets back to his feet.
Custo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kozlovski to the mat! Kozlovski manages to get full guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kozlovski is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Custo stays in close to Kozlovski's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Custo forces his way into half guard.
Kozlovski is looking to escape.
Kozlovski tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Custo manages to move to mount!
Kozlovski's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Custo looking to control and managing it successfully.
Kozlovski is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Custo takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

You get the feeling that Kozlovski really doesn't like being in this position too much.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Custo tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Custo working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Kozlovski turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Custo off and cradles Kozlovski's limp body as Custo celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Jean Jacque Custo!
Jean Jacque Custo gave a mention to na in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
