The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hussein drops Boban with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Boban looks back up at him and smiles so Hussein waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hussein moves in looking to clinch but Boban pushes him off.

Hussein drives through and clinches with Boban against the cage.

Boban tries to work over Hussein's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Boban looks winded!
Hussein lands with a short shot to the head.

That has opened up Franjo Boban's cut even more.

Hussein lands with a light punch inside.
Hussein pushes Boban against the cage. Hussein is working some dirty boxing. Hussein pushes off with a quick right hook! Boban goes down! Boban tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Hussein moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mahmoud Hussein!

A relieved looking Mahmoud Hussein thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
Franjo Boban spoke after the fight, saying 'Hold me tight, I AM GONNA KILL HIM!!! RAAAAAAAAAAAA'.
