With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ricardo Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kaczmarek throws a head kick but Sanchez moves out of range.
Kaczmarek has closed the distance and engaged Sanchez in a clinch.
Sanchez is looking to break free of the clinch but Kaczmarek has double underhooks.
Sanchez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Sanchez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Kaczmarek has him pressed against the cage.
Sanchez has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Kaczmarek has Sanchez pressed against the cage, preventing Sanchez from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Kaczmarek is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Sanchez can't fight it off and eventually Kaczmarek manages to take the fight to the floor. Sanchez looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Kaczmarek controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Kaczmarek advances position into side control!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kaczmarek tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Sanchez is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kaczmarek in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Sanchez is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
